Magical Birthday

Hello friends, Stephanie here with a sweet birthday card using Be Unique.  I so love this stamp set!  I colored with copics and added some sparkle to the mane and tail with stickles.  The designer paper is from my scrap bin, the Yellow card stock is from Bazzil and it actually sparkles.  It has been such a great release this month for Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps and May is going to be even better!  Happy Stamping everyone!

Rainbows and Unicorns

I guess you can tell that we love the 'be unique' stamp set ;) I just had to show you another card made with the beautiful unicorn. I love that you can color it in every color you like. So I used some (soft) rainbow colors today.
I colored the unicorn and the rainbow with alcohol markers and cut them out. I used foam tape behind the unicorn so it pops out a bit more. I searched for some matching patterned papers and added some sequins to make the card a bit more sparkling.

Be Unique!

Today I have a couple more cards using the oh so cute and utterly adorable Sweet N Sassy Stamps Be Unique Clear Stamp Set.

First, I took all of the sentiments and smaller images and created a subway art style set up. I embossed it in with versa mark and white embossing powder. Then I got rainbow inky with Distress Oxide Inks. I went simple with the layout since the sentiment layout really "spoke" for itself (pun intended :))

While I was playing in the ink, I created a panel for my second card. I used a stitched die cut for a frame and created a simple shaker card with some shaker shapes I found at Micheal's - they were in a container like a collection of spices come in and the colors were so perfect, I just had to buy them! I embossed the sentiment on the transparency and stamped a unicorn on watercolor paper and colored it up with my polychromos pencils. (I really like the way the texture and pencils worked together.) I fussy cut it and added it to the corner of my card.

These were so much fun to make! I hope they've inspired you!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Be Yourself

Hello Sweet 'n Sassy Stampers!
It's Ceal, here to share a card with you using this super adorable set Be Unique. I adore this set because I love rainbows and unicorns and it has both! This set is so versatile, be sure to visit our website to see more inspiration using this set including Bible journaling.

To create my card I started with a white top folding card base and a white piece of cardstock to stamp the image on. I stamped the unicorn image using Memento ink and then colored it with Copic markers. I used the ScanNCut to cut it out and before placing it on my card front I created a background for her using the three stars and colored them using the same colors of Copic markers. To finish the card and give her some shimmer I used a Wink of Stella glitter pen over her body and then added some glossy accents to her hooves and horn.

No Love Like Mom's

Hello Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps friends!  It's beginning to feel more like spring and that means that Mother's Day is on the way...in fact it's three weeks away!  The A Mother's Love stamp set released this month is great for creating the perfect card for mom.  I have two cards to share using this wonderful stamp set...love the silhouette images and the wonderful sentiments included in this set.

For my first card, the flowers from the Whimsy Bouquet Stamp Set were stamped around a circle aperture cut from a piece on Neenah Card Stock.  This was done by rotating the panel in my Misti.  After the flowers were colored with Copic Markers, the panel was placed back in the Misti and the flowers stamped again to obtain a dark, crisp line.  The silhouette image was stamped through the frame and the sentiment added on a die cut banner.

The background on this second card was created by sponging Worn Lipstick, Bundled Sage, and Squeezed Lemonade Oxide Inks through a stencil.  Black splatters were added.  Strips of black card stock were added to the bottom of another panel to create the striped pattern.  The silhouette image from the A Mother's Love Stamp Set was stamped and the panel cut with a stitched oval die.  Stitching and the sentiment strip were added to finish the card!

The two stamps sets used for these cards can be found at the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps Store.

Thanks so much for stopping by...
I Hope you've been inspired to create a card for mom!

Hugs,
Cathy

A Mother's Love

{jane bosi}  Happy Friday, Sweet Friends!!  It's a very special Friday in my world since today is my momma's birthday!  That makes it the perfect day to share a series of cards that celebrate A Mother's Love; and feature the new Sweet and Sassy Stamp set by the same name!  I love this set, the sentiments and silhouette images.  All so sweet!

I created a series of backgrounds using  my Gelliarts gelli plate.  Friends, this a seriously addicting tool!  It's so much fun to combine colors, textures and whatever else you can think of.  Each pressing is unique.  It's kind of like opening a gift each time; you never know what you are going to get!

This final card also features a resist panel and the Whimsy Bouquet set. I added extra color to the panel using distress oxide inks.  A few sparkly blings and......done!  Sweet and simple!

Have a great day!  Jane

Rose Banner x3

Hello! I am sharing a couple cards today using a new Sweet ‘n Sassy stamp set from the April Release. This is the April Stamp of the Month set, called Rose Banner, and it's free with your $75 purchase through 4/30/18!

For my first card, I stamped the top of the roses twice onto a strip of white cardstock, cut around the top of the roses, and layered them over an embossed panel. The roses were colored with Copics.

For my second card, I first scored a piece of tan cardstock diagonally every inch in both directions. Then I masked and sponged the squares to make a tiled or quilted look. Then I placed the rose stamp in my MISTI tool and inked it with Distress Chipped Sapphire. I had a few missed spots and an idea hit. lol.  Instead of re-inking and stamping with the same color, I inked it with Distress Peacock Feathers. This gave a nice two-toned image!

My third card is a CAS one...again using my MISTI. Here I stamped it twice with 2 colors. The second time was stamped on a diecut panel and layered over the first one.

Have a great day!
Diane

A Mother's Love and Rose Banner

Hi friends, It's been awhile since I posted and it's good to be back! Today I have a couple cards I am sharing with you the first using a new release set called A Mother's Love, just in time for all your Mother's Day cards.  I love Silhouette Stamps because they make for quick and easy card.  I stamped the image with Versafine ink and then used embossing powder.  The paper is from DCWV.
My second card is using Rose Banner which is free if you spend $75 during the month of April.  I've stamped with Versamark ink and used White embossing powder, then I used 3 different colors of Distress Oxide ink to make the background and then stamped the sentiment in black ink and used clear embossing powder.   Make sure you stop by the store or scroll on the blog to see the other new release sets this month!

Don't Worry

Hello everyone! Today I want to share another card with the beautiful rose banner flower.

The rose is pretty big and I love that it's already beautiful if you only use a part of the flower. I stamped the flower on marker paper and colored it with alcohol markers. I masked the bottom part of the stamp so I could add the pattern on the bottom on the same paper. I used a stencil and some inks to create the pattern. I covered the line between the rose and the pattern with a pink ribbon.
I stamped the message 'don't worry' on a piece of black paper with a white ink. After that I cut it out and adhered it onto my card. I used a black and white background paper and added a couple of sequins to finish the card.

I used the stamp set of the month 'Rose Banner'. You can earn this set for free with a $75 order through the month of April. For the message I used the set 'just say Jesus'.

Spring is in BLOOM!

What a beautiful day we had here in Georgia today. Spring is in FULL BLOOM! :) So I grabbed The Flowers and Bloom Clear Stamp Set and Holy Spirit Clear Stamp Single from Sweet N Sassy Stamps. The latter is a new stamp this month.

I created two cards using different card stock and different inks for two fantastically different but beautiful cards.

First a new favorite go to - color pencils on Kraft. I used Polychromos and a Recollections brand Kraft. I embossed the sentiment then added some dew drops to finish it off.

The second card used watercolor paper (Canson XL) and Zig Real Color Brush Pens and distress ink (salty ocean). I inked up the blue ink onto my acrylic block and misted it and pressed it onto the paper. I inked the image with archival ink onto of the blue then colored it (even over the blue) with my markers - the blue just helped add to the shading.

I hope you are getting some Spring where you live and I hope these cards inspire to to create!

Thanks for stopping by!

Fun with Rose Banner

Hello Sweet 'n Sassy Friends!  I hope you have been enjoying the new April Release!  I've been having fun with the new Stamp of the Month for April 2018.  Not only is this beautiful stamp set designed by Nina Brackett fun to use, but you can get it for free with a $75 purchase...however, only until the end of April 30th.

I have a set of four cards using the Rose Banner and Texture Tiles 1 stamp sets to share with you today.

A background was made using different colors of Oxide inks on mixed media paper.  Texture was added using the Texture Tiles and coordinated ink colors.  The rose image was placed in my Misti tool and stamped with archival ink.  The rose and leaves were then painted with white gesso.  The panel was put back into the Misti and stamped again with archival ink.  A light wash of color was then added to portions of the flower and the leaves using watered down Oxide inks.

Different sentiments from the Rose Banner set were stamped on each card.

Thank you so much for stopping by...have a blessed day!
Hugs,
Cathy
